And so here we are in 2012. Hopefully this will be a good year for modern fiction and here at Firsts in Print we will endeavour to bring you the very best of the new titles - all of them first editions and first printings and many of them signed by the authors.

Debut novels are not all they are cracked up to be but here's one that has generally received excellent reviews both here and in the US. It is Chad Harbach's 'The Art of Fielding'. We have a limited number of signed copies which you can find on the Just In pages.










Following up a debut novel is always difficult for any author especially when huge praise has been lavished upon it. This was the case for Belinda Bauer when she published 'Blacklands' a couple of years ago. Her third novel 'Finders Keepers' has now appeared and the reviews have been excellent. She is certainly a crime writer to watch and collect. We have a few signed, dated and quoted copies available.











Ben Kane goes from strength to strength with his new Roman adventure novel 'Spartacus'. This is the first of two novels to be published this year with this theme. We have some special signed, dated and quoted first editions which are also numbered - only 80 copies numbered in this way.
